        Soprano, Rebecca Tann, hails from Sugar Land, Texas where she works as an active performer and voice teacher. She holds a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance from University of Houston where she studied under Cynthia Clayton. 

        Previously, Rebecca graduated summa cum laude from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and Music Education through which she received her teacher certification in Music education for grades K-12. 

        Some of her most notable roles include Carlotta Vance in Dinner at Eight, Die Hexe in Hänsel und Gretel, Geraldine in A Hand of Bridge, Giorgetta in Il tabarro, Lady Billows in Albert Herring, and Miss Jessel in The Turn of the Screw.

        She has participated in many opera training programs including Miami Music Festival, Angels Vocal Art, the Institute for Young Dramatic Voices with Dolora Zajick, Opera in the Ozarks, and Music in the Marche.

        Ms. Tann works as a professional cantor at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Houston and sings with Houston Grand Opera as a resident Chorister. She has an active vocal studio in Sugar Land and partnership with Fort Bend Independent School District where she works as a clinician and vocal teacher.
